GSNetworks strives to develop “Win-Win” relationships with our customer. To promote this initiative we have provided our customers with some value added service options intended to help reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary process. The following services are available to all our customers and our Sales Team will gladly assist you in determining if any of these cost saving services will work for you.
- Kanban – automatic stock replenishment
- Just in Time – eliminate lead time
- Dock-to-Stock – reduce handling
- Custom Packaging – get the right quantities at right points on the line
- Reverse Engineering – create a new assembly based on an existing sample
This “pull system” can easily be implemented to best suit your requirements. If you have a reasonably consistent demand for an assembly, a Kanban can help reduce inventory and procurement costs, simplify the replenishment process and eliminate long order lead-times.
Just In Time
If you know your annual demand for an assembly simply provide us with a 12 month blanket purchase order and we will hold materials exclusively for your assembly. This will enable us to fill your order requirements immediately without any delays. This simple process can reduce your procurement and inventory handling cost and eliminates the lead time.
Why duplicate unnecessary receiving and inspection costs. Our Product can go directly from our facility to your stock or production. All our assemblies are 100% tested and inspected prior to shipping making this approach a simple and practical way to eliminate receiving and inspection cost. Let us help you determine if this program is a good fit for your organization.
The way we package your assemblies can help reduce your costs. For example if your production line requires 4 different cable assemblies for each unit but you are receiving those assemblies individually as 4 separate items a lot of time will be wasted receiving, stocking and segregating 1 of each assembly for each unit. GSNetworks can save you time and expense by pre-packaging your order in sets of 4 different assemblies; that means you only receive and stock 1 item and the manufacturing process is simplified. Many of our OEM customers have identified this method as highly effective.
We have the expertise and equipment necessary to reverse engineer almost any cable assembly. On occasion this has proven to be of great benefit to some of our customers. Poorly documented legacy items, undocumented custom cables and obsolete assemblies can be assessed so documentation can be created or a new replacement assembly produced. This service has yielded considerable time and cost saving in some instances.
